This position is remote in Orange, CA.
The Ambassador at Alignment Health serves as an invaluable aid in helping consumers and members understand the company, its value propositions as well as its unique benefits and services. Assists the Sales and Community Outreach Representatives at community events and activities, sales meetings, and member meetings, where they talk about Alignment's products and programs and introduce the target audience to Alignment's unique value proposition. Assists the Sales and Community Outreach Representatives in creating brand awareness, generating leads, and driving plan enrollment. Acts as the "face" of the Alignment brand whether representing Alignment at a formal event, or just talking to people when out in the general public. Acts as an influencer in their communities, establishing networks and relationships to market the brand via word-of-mouth marketing (i.e., referring friends, neighbors, family, aligning with Senior community groups, etc.).
GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Has a baseline knowledge of Alignment's vision and mission as well as benefits, services, and programs.
2. Acts comfortable with face-to-face and virtual interactions.
3. Assists the Sales and Community Outreach Representatives at various community events and activities by following and adhering to event expectations, timelines and protocols.
4. Supports efforts of the Sales and Community Outreach Representatives by fostering a sense of goodwill toward Alignment among prospective member and members who may have question about the plan.
5. Conducts outbound phone calls to welcome new members to Alignment as directed by management and may utilize an approved script by which to communicate with members.
6. May be assigned to distribute marketing flyers to approved locations as directed by management.
7. May be assigned to defined territories to support Sales and Community Outreach Representatives.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
• Required: Minimum 1 customer service skills speaking to people in groups of 10 or more.
• Preferred: Prior Healthcare or insurance industry experience.
Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree or four years additional experience in lieu of education.
• Preferred: MBA

• Required:
