Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough clinical assessments using scientifically validated tools to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring effective intervention strategies are in place.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to address the mental health concerns of clients, guiding them towards improved emotional and psychological well-being.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, reflecting a commitment to ethical standards and accountability in practice.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver integrated treatment approaches based on collective expertise, leading to synergistic client care outcomes.
• Engage in case consultations and peer review activities aimed at continuously improving service delivery and aligning with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their journeys towards recovery.
• Stay abreast of current developments in the mental health field, integrating new research findings into practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences, primarily facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. As a counselor at our clinic, you will be instrumental in creating an inclusive and safe space where clients can express themselves and pursue healing and growth. Your role directly influences client outcomes, helping individuals regain their strength and develop coping strategies that lead to long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
• Experience with evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions tailored to a diverse range of mental health issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients, facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient settings, providing mental health counseling to clients with various challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
