Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in both group and individual supervision sessions to enhance professional growth and improve therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Oregon Health Authority to maintain comprehensive enrollment and discharge data for clients seeking problem gambling treatment, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Facilitate joint case planning and coordination with a variety of community agencies, including educational institutions, group homes, legal organizations, and public health entities, to create a robust support network for clients.
  • Provide education on behavioral health and addiction prevention to community members, helping to raise awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through trainings, meetings, and conferences, utilizing the knowledge gained to enhance the agencyโ€™s offerings and client outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) plan, along with associated policies and procedures to uphold treatment standards in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Assisted Hand Medical Group, you will primarily work with an adult population facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress-related disorders, and issue surrounding addiction. Your skills in crisis intervention and treatment planning will be crucial in guiding clients toward their recovery and wellness journeys.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), a Master of Social Work, a Master's in Professional Counseling, or a Master's in Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Candidates must meet all licensure requirements for the state of Oregon and/or Washington, demonstrating a strong commitment to the principles of ethical practice and client advocacy.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required. Familiarity with community resources, case management systems, and behavioral health policies will also be considered advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to foster effective relationships with both clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
