Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop pricing models for Distributor and sales contracts, analyze market and internal sales data, provide pricing advice for APM U.S. sales staff, within the guidelines of business unit pricing; develop complex pricing proposals to customers and Distributors in collaboration with sales leadership 45%

  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contracts strategies 10%

  • Identify contract strategies and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements and increase revenue opportunities 10%

  • Develop and negotiate complex contract terms with customers and Distributors 10%

  • Interface with internal and external customers to complete non-pricing data needed and/or obtain clarification on non-pricing data needed to finalize contracts 10%

  • Generate complex contracts and contract amendments, including extensions, model add/delete, price changes, and terms and conditions, based on information provided 10%

  • Review all contracts to ensure compliance with established business unit guidelines, including securing appropriate approvals 5%

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

  • Extensive knowledge of contract terms and conditions

  • Extensive knowledge of sales field operations

  • Good leadership skills and ability to influence change

  • Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation; ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives

  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field with 8 years of previous related experience with contract or bid management or equivalent work experience - Required

  • Proven successful project management skills

  • Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel; Qlik and Model N experience preferred

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
