About the Role
Our client, a large, well-established real estate and property management organization, is seeking a senior-level IT Project Manager Property Management Software Implementation to lead the rollout of a new enterprise software solution across their business. This is a fully remote opportunity offered through our staffing firm on behalf of our client, a leader in the multifamily housing and property management industry.
This role is ideal for a seasoned IT Project Manager with a proven background in complex, enterprise-wide software implementationsparticularly within the real estate or property management space. The successful candidate will drive a highly cross-functional initiative from planning through deployment, ensuring business requirements are gathered, documented, tracked, and successfully delivered.
Job Description
As the IT Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of an enterprise property management software platform, coordinating stakeholders across multiple departments and managing competing priorities to keep the project on track. You will partner closely with business leaders, technical teams, and third-party software vendors to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the full lifecycle of enterprise software implementation, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to gather, document, and manage project requirements.
  • Coordinating activities across multiple departments to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
  • Facilitating project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identifying project risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and proactively developing mitigation plans.
  • Tracking project scope, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborating with software vendors and internal teams throughout implementation and integration efforts.
  • Ensuring all functional and technical requirements are documented and validated prior to deployment.
  • Driving user acceptance testing (UAT), training coordination, and change management activities.
  • Providing regular project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of IT Project Management experience focusedon software implementation projects.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide software deployments (not transitioned from operations into project management).
  • Experience implementingProperty Management / Real Estate ERP Platforms (examples include:Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, MRI Software, AppFolio, or ResMan)
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and project tracking capabilities.
  • Expertise with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience driving projects from initiation through successful go-live.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where requirements are still being defined.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing real estate, property management, or housing software platforms.
  • Familiarity with solutions such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or comparable property management systems.
