CRM Data Enrichment Specialist
Employment Type: Contract (3-6 months)
Location: Austin, Texas (Telework)
We are seeking a highly self-directed CRM Data Enrichment Specialist for a short-term, primarily remote project supporting a Salesforce-based CRM implementation. This role will research, enrich, qualify, and maintain contact records using public databases, government directories, open-source resources, and social media, while managing a defined workload and delivering accurate, complete results against established project milestones.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives working independently, takes ownership of deliverables, and can consistently meet deadlines without day-to-day supervision.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet firm deadlines
  • Experience researching and validating professional contact information using web-based resources and social media
  • Basic knowledge of CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to conduct limited professional outreach by phone or email to verify information
  • Strong data-quality mindset, including identifying and resolving duplicate or incomplete records

Responsibilities
  • Research and enrich incomplete contact records by sourcing missing information, including full name, title, organization, phone number, and mailing address, using public databases, government directories, open-source records, and social media.
  • Prioritize and independently manage a contact enrichment queue, tracking progress and flagging records that cannot be resolved through available research methods.
  • Enter and maintain accurate, complete contact records in a Salesforce-based CRM in accordance with organizational data standards, converting unqualified leads into qualified contacts.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to ensure enriched records meet qualification criteria for CRM implementation.
  • Collect, manage, and import contact information from business cards, meeting notes, event attendance logs, and official correspondence.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and convert leads into qualified contacts from official correspondence.
  • Maintain data integrity by identifying and eliminating duplicate contact and lead records.
  • Establish and follow an efficient, repeatable contact enrichment process
  • Deliver against a structured timeline, including an initial discovery and access plan, a fully enriched contact list, contact qualification and maintenance, and full process execution and validation.
