Job Title: Project Lead / Business Analyst - Software Engineering
Location: Remote

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead / Business Analyst to support software engineering and software lifecycle activities. The individual will lead assigned software releases, coordinate technical resources, work with business and engineering stakeholders to define requirements, and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with established project, quality, and software lifecycle requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as Project Lead for assigned software development, enhancement, maintenance, and support releases.
• Work with users, engineers, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Translate operational requirements into functional and technical requirements.
• Develop project/release plans, schedules, estimates, status reports, and deliverable tracking.
• Coordinate software developers, SQA personnel, database administrators, system administrators, process engineers, and other technical resources.
• Facilitate requirements reviews, design reviews, test-readiness reviews, and implementation activities.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and corrective actions.
• Support software lifecycle, configuration management, change management, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Coordinate customer meetings and provide technical and project status reporting.
• Support periodic Hanford Site meetings, system walkdowns, planning sessions, and implementation activities.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project leadership, business analysis, software engineering, or related IT/engineering environments.
• Experience developing and documenting functional and technical requirements.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary software or engineering teams.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, change management, and configuration management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop clear technical documentation and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting DOE, Hanford, nuclear, energy, industrial, or other highly regulated environments.
• Experience with safety- or quality-affecting software.
• Familiarity with formal Software Quality Assurance (SQA) programs.
• PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, Agile/Scrum, or related certification.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
