The EV Data Analysis Lead position is open for immediate full-time employment for qualified candidates with expertise in data analysis, project management, and staff supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transportation technology consulting field in areas including:

  • Advanced vehicle technologies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities and proven leadership experience within a research or consulting environment.
What You Will Do
  • Partner with Program Directors to understand and define data analysis requirements
  • Review project scopes of work and translate them into actionable task assignments
  • Develop data analytics strategies to support proposal (RFP) responses
  • Assess research and data needs to enhance transportation data analysis services
  • Oversee data aggregation, validation, and review processes
  • Interpret, translate, and present technical findings to stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data professionals to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Define and execute vision, strategy, and architecture for data systems and analytics
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise a team of senior and junior data analysts
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to support technical growth and performance
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
Technical Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to integrate data from multiple sources
  • Utilize cloud and open-source tools for data ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance
  • Leverage technologies such as Azure Data Factory and dbt for automated workflows
  • Design and maintain SQL databases optimized for analytical use cases
  • Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure using Azure cloud services
  • Implement data quality checks, testing methods, and long-term consistency controls
  • Identify and automate manual processes and data delivery workflows
  • Create and maintain orchestration pipelines
  • Assemble large, complex datasets aligned with business and research requirements
  • Continuously improve processes for data collection, cleaning, and management

Required Qualifications

Target Compensation

DOT Requirements
