Job Title: Technical Project Manager, Data Analysis

Position Summary:

The Technical Project Manager, Data Analysis develops and executes automated analysis and data-driven initiatives in support of mission objectives. This role integrates data analysis, technical coordination, and project management to deliver solutions that automate analysis supporting reporting requirements and decision making for the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis, develop and track KPIs, and discuss results and collect feedback from multiple teams to support mission reporting requirements
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
  • Develop and maintain data analysis project plans; track input requirements and data update schedules, and evaluate and improve automated data analysis performance
  • Manage day-to-day data analysis project execution, including planning, data collection, data cleaning and transformation, automated analysis development, customer presentation and feedback integration.
  • Translate mission and business needs into data and technical solutions, including automating data ETL and reporting
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure data analysis efforts are supporting all required outputs for the program
  • Serve as POC for automated data analysis and tracking efforts
  • Receive and execute requirements from the program management team and other teams within the program to assist in providing deliverables that meet SOW and contractual requirements
  • Provide status reporting on dashboard and analysis performance, data gaps, and development schedules
  • Support development time estimation, resource planning, and issue resolution planning for data analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in data analysis or similar preferred; an additional four (4) years of experience be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum six (6) years of directly related experience in addition to education level
  • Proficiency with data analysis, basic statistics, KPI tracking, and performance reporting
  • Proficiency using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep
  • Proficiency developing and optimizing Tableau dashboards using preparatory data modeling and appropriate calculated fields to answer relevant questions and automate analysis for multiple data domains
  • Experience in SQL and data querying from various sources including excel, csv, SharePoint Lists, and other databases as appropriate
  • Experience with data cleaning, validation, and reporting
  • Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling concepts, and data warehouse platforms
  • Knowledge of Python, VBA, PowerShell scripting
  • Current PMP or CSM certification
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
