• Utilize clinical judgment to deliver high-quality therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and needs.
• Document clinical notes accurately, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with other mental health professionals, sharing insights and participating in case consultations to enrich the therapeutic process.
• Maintain a robust caseload while actively managing appointments, ensuring timely follow-ups with clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with skills and resources for self-help.

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Active and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating expertise in delivering therapeutic services.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families, supporting their therapeutic journey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and collaboration with peers.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate efficient documentation and care delivery.

• Experience in providing therapy in a remote setting, familiar with the dynamics and challenges of virtual counseling.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations, sensitive to cultural differences and inclusive practices.
