Work Environment

This full-time position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule effectively while contributing to our dynamic team. As a Telehealth Counselor, you will utilize innovative technology and a variety of user-friendly tools to provide seamless care. Our electronic medical record (EMR) system includes integrated treatment software, assessment tools, and crisis protocols, simplifying documentation and enhancing the quality of care you deliver.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly therapy sessions through live video conferencing with individual clients, focusing on their unique mental health needs.
  • Utilize a structured treatment approach, incorporating automatically administered symptom self-assessments and functional improvement measures to evaluate client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including other counselors and psychiatrists, to create comprehensive and effective treatment plans for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through weekly drop-in consultations and free monthly continuing education training (CEUs) provided by the organization.
  • Work closely with administrative and clinical support teams, who handle billing and operational processes, enabling you to concentrate entirely on client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a mental health counselor will primarily involve supporting a general adult population, including individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, those at risk of suicide, and diverse cultural backgrounds. Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (i.e., LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) from an accredited program.
