Description



SAIC is seeking a Program Acquisition Analyst to support national security space programs within the Space Systems Command System Delta 89 portfolio in El Segundo, California.

Fun stuff you will do on the job:

  • Provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting and execution.
  • Develop data models integrating program financial and technical data to support actionable decision recommendations.
  • Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
  • Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping.
  • Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.
  • Provide program element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures as well as develop and support delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports across the program budget and execution lifecycle.

Qualifications



This is you:

  • Bachelors and 6 years or more of related experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience developing data models integrating program financial and technical data to support actionable decision recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance with in-scope SSBI/T5 background investigation. Ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Program accesses.  Must be willing to consent to a polygraph.

  • Master Degree in Business Management, technical management, and/or engineering.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
  • Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area.
  • Experience in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and, or Contracts management within the Department of Defense.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
