Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied client population, including individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, trauma, and emotional disturbances. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, including those from underserved communities, providing an enriching experience as you address not only their psychological needs but also the broader social factors affecting their mental health. Your sensitivity to cultural nuances and commitment to equitable care will greatly impact their healing journey.

Qualifications

  • An active clinical license in California as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or other appropriate certifications that do not require supervision.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with vulnerable populations, are preferred. Familiarity with outpatient care settings, trauma-informed care practices, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be considered advantageous.
