Job description

As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, our vision is to provide business applications leveraging Amazon's unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers' success through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions which solve enduring business challenges. We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon's real-world experience to build opinionated, turnkey solutions.

Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to use.
We are looking for a senior Technical Program Manager to join the Foundations team within the Agentic WorkSpaces organization.
The Agentic WorkSpaces organization envisions a world where people, teams, and AI collaborate securely from anywhere to create unprecedented value for every organization. We build lovable products that empower every business to unlock the full potential of human-AI teamwork, driving smarter decisions, greater creativity, more value, and faster innovation with confidence. This vision is realized through the agentic WorkSpace - a secure, managed environment purpose-built for human-AI collaboration at enterprise scale, where people and AI agents work side by side to deliver results neither could achieve alone.
The Foundations team builds and operates the core streaming technology that enables users across the globe to access their cloud desktops and applications every day - from hospitals, offices, factory floors, and homes around the world

You will drive complex, multi-team programs that span our core engineering capabilities: a high-performance remote display protocol, client applications across all major platforms, streaming infrastructure at scale, and an observability platform providing real-time visibility into session health.
This role requires coordinating across multiple engineering teams distributed between the US and Europe, managing dependencies with adjacent teams in the broader Agentic WorkSpaces organization, and ensuring our most ambitious programs deliver on time with high quality. You will work at the intersection of protocol engineering, cloud infrastructure, AI-powered experiences, and enterprise security - in a space that is evolving rapidly as AI agents become first-class consumers of desktop environments.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program execution for cross-cutting initiatives that span multiple engineering teams within the Foundations team and adjacent teams in the Agentic WorkSpaces organization

You will define milestones, track dependencies, surface risks early, and drive resolution.
- Coordinate delivery across geographically distributed teams (US and Europe), managing timezone-aware communication cadences and ensuring alignment without requiring everyone to be online simultaneously.
- Drive launch readiness for new features and services - from early planning through general availability - including operational readiness reviews, customer validation plans, documentation, and go-to-market coordination.
- Build and maintain program health dashboards that give leadership clear, up-to-date visibility into progress, blockers, and resource needs. You will own the weekly program review mechanism for your initiatives.
- Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and blockers. You will work directly with engineering managers, principal and senior engineers, and product managers to make trade-off decisions and escalate when needed.
- Improve program management mechanisms: retrospectives, dependency tracking, planning cadences, and communication templates

You will streamline excess process and create predictable paths for delivery.
- Partner with product management to translate strategic priorities into actionable program plans with clear ownership and timelines.
A day in the life
Your morning starts with a scan of overnight updates from the Europe-based engineering team - reviewing progress on protocol improvements or infrastructure changes that landed while Seattle slept. You join the daily standup for your primary program, where engineering leads share status and flag a new dependency on an adjacent team for an authentication integration.
Mid-morning, you facilitate a launch readiness review for a feature approaching general availability. You work through the operational checklist, confirm that alarms, runbooks, and load tests are complete, and capture open items with owners and dates

After lunch, you prepare the weekly program update for your Director, distilling complex multi-team progress into a concise narrative that highlights what needs attention.
In the afternoon, you hold a call with an engineering lead in Europe to unblock a cross-team API contract decision, then join an architecture review for the next phase of infrastructure modernization. Your day ends with an async update to the broader program channel, setting context for the European team's next working day.
