Job Description: JOB SUMMARY
This position is the Company’s principal project representative responsible for planning, organizing, managing and monitoring multi-discipline project engineering, controls and procurement teams to execute all stages of projects from initiation through acceptance and closeout. Has single point accountability to organize, integrate and lead project team to successfully meet the project objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Direct development of project scope, cost and schedule, design, drawings and field support for multiple concurrent projects.
Direct resource planning, cost estimating and scheduling functions in coordination with Program Management, Resource Management, Engineering and Technical Specialists.
Direct project staff including recommendations relating to the selection, training and performance monitoring of same.
Direct and Coordinate the activities of multi-discipline project teams to meet client’s safety, cost, quality, schedule, technical and operability objectives for multiple concurrent projects.
Identify and implement Change Management in all stages of projects.
Accountable for integrating safety into all aspects of design and execution.
Accountable for adherence to Client policies and standards.
Accountable for adherence to designated quality standards.
Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
Promote company capabilities and value proposition.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIESWorking knowledge of Stage-Gate Project Execution.
Experience in FEL development and estimating preferred.
Proven record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects, achieving all project safety, cost, quality, schedule, technical and operability objectives.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, project management tools and ability to learn new software programs as required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management
6 to 10+ years of experience in Heavy Industries project environment (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
Field trips to job sites (local and/or remote) may be required, so applicant must be open to travel and remote site assignments.
Applicants must be capable of passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
Applicants must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
