As our Digital Technology, engineering, and manufacturing operations expand, we are growing our Architecture Organization into a new leadership role of an Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture. This position will embed directly into the existing Front end of the Business team
and will focus on solving complex, often undefined business and technical challenges. This role is central to advancing Industry 4.0 capabilities, modernizing legacy business and manufacturing applications, enabling integrated and highly automated 24/7 operations, and
designing solutions that operate effectively in environments that include classified and air-gapped manufacturing systems.

What You Will Do:

- Lead enterprise architectural strategy supporting Industry 4.0, IIoT, smart manufacturing, and
cyber-physical systems.
- Modernize legacy business and operational applications using classified cloud, microservices,
and event-driven architectures.
- Architect scalable, resilient platforms that enable automation, real-time data exchange, and
24/7 plant operations within or adjacent to air-gapped (classified) manufacturing
environments.
- Collaborate with operational technology (OT) teams to integrate OT and Digital Technology
capabilities while managing constraints inherent to air-gapped and classified manufacturing
systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience

- Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or large-scale
systems design.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (Such as IIoT, advanced analytics, or connected
manufacturing assets) and integration patterns.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Proven ability to architect solutions that operate within or adjacent to air-gapped/classified
manufacturing environments.

- Familiarity with data governance, MDM, and enterprise information architectures

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
