Program Manager - EPMO (contract)
Agility 360 is looking for a qualified and highly energetic candidate to fill the position of Program Manager (EPMO). The Program Manager within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) partners with business lines to define and execute strategic roadmaps, manage program portfolios, and drive enterprise initiatives from planning through execution. This role focuses on aligning business strategy with organizational objectives while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and change management practices. The Program Manager serves as a trusted advisor to business partners and senior leadership, delivering transparency, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement across complex, multi-workstream initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with assigned business lines to build trust and collaboratively develop strategic plans aligned with enterprise goals, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate strategic plans into executable programs, initiatives, and workstreams, including complex, multi-workstream enterprise initiatives.
  • Apply change management best practices to ensure successful execution of programs within defined timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Manage and track the program portfolio, providing program-level metrics and insights related to financials, risk, resources, dependencies, and overall performance.
  • Identify, document, and resolve cross-functional dependencies involving people, processes, and technology across program initiatives.
  • Contribute to the EPMO's enterprise master plan by shaping program management vision and ensuring projects are structured for successful execution.
  • Coach and support project and program managers to ensure strong planning, governance, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and relationship management.
  • Continuously assess and manage risk at multiple levels, partnering with Enterprise Risk Management and second-line-of-defense teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, tools, and maturity aligned with the strategic roadmap.
  • Lead, develop, and manage team members as applicable, including hiring, coaching, performance management, training, and career development.

Experience & Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
  • Advanced experience in strategic planning and translating strategy into executable programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of payment systems, experience in banking/finance is a plus
  • Advanced experience across EPMO functions, including governance, resource and capacity management, talent development, and technology program management.
  • Strong background in regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry standards, and risk management practices within the financial services environment.
  • Advanced experience working in project- and program-based team environments.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong influencing skills with demonstrated success gaining alignment and buy-in across multiple business partners.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

Preferred Experience & Credentials
  • Master's degree or MBA in a related field.
  • Prior leadership and team management experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products and services.
  • Advanced financial services industry experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • ADKAR change management certification.

Physical Requirements:
  • Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver's license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment.
