Brief Job Overview

The Program Manager is an individual contributor role in the Global Biologics Department in the Strategic Operations Function reporting to the Senior Manager that is responsible for program managing ongoing internal projects and external collaborations that directly support biological standards development and release.  The Program Manager will use scientific knowledge and experience and program management skills to manage workplans, timelines, deliverables, and project transfers to ensure operational alignment and linkages to strategic goals for a comprehensive pipeline of next-generation biological standards across different therapeutic areas which is critical for the implementation of the biologics strategy.  The Program Manager will liaise with internal and external collaborators and support contract and resource management.  Other responsibilities include contributing to development of program management methodology and tools.

The Program Manager has the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with global Biologics Leadership to drive programs to meet established objectives and appropriately utilize resources.
  • Build and manage workplans, timelines, deliverables, and project transfers with a clear understanding of responsibilities across stakeholders and drive staff accountability.
  • Create and deliver program dashboards (timeline, risk, dependencies, resource burn) and lead monthly/quarterly reviews.
  • Anticipate and identify issues and challenges and manage resolution with team leaders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across USP as needed to successfully implement projects and utilize data driver decision making principles.
  • Manage the implementation of robust project management approach to fulfill responsibilities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Leverage tools, technology, platforms to efficiently and effectively manage projects.

 Base Salary Range: USD $87,756.00 – $108,400.00 annually.

Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
