Overview

The Manager, Apprenticeship Program will assume leadership of an assigned group of Apprenticeship Mangers, Coordinators or Specialist, responsible for the development and implementation of a high-quality apprenticeship program. Responsible for coordinating and directing the apprenticeship activities and program relating to worker training, on the job learning, program alignment, procedures, best practices, and compliance for apprenticeship program. Further, responsible for program evaluation and department of labor reviews. Providing support to the RenewableWorks team to ensure the timely and effective application of Apprenticeship Program processes, procedures, IRA Reporting, and the company mission. The position will have oversight of financial performance of their assigned group.  This position will have oversight to ensure that project responsibilities are carried out promptly and accurately within the allocated time and budget, overseeing or managing the initiating, planning, executing, and controlling phases of the project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees the planning, delivery and measurement of training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of directs.
  • Demonstrates an ability to champion best practices and achieve process improvement.
  • Helps team to set performance goals, setting and delivery on expectations per development plans.
  • Leads change and the adoption and rollout of new systems and technology.
  • Communicates new deliverables/products and timelines, and other changes in a transparent, clear, and concise manner to assigned team.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Plan project schedule including timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Track and report project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work with technical Subject-Matter SMES to define and document technical requirements for the project.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Analyze problems and help design appropriate solutions or alternatives.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field; or combination of education and experience. 
  • 5+ years of proven success in complex project/program management experience in a business setting.
  • Valid Driver's License 

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds.
  • This is a remote/virtual role; work from home.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.

Salary Range: $78,200 - $97,700 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.

Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
