Currently, we are seeking a Project Analyst, Senior - UMCS - Reliability and Maintainability. This role supports our Navyย customer in Lexington Park, MD.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Support to the tailored UMCS R&M process direct to the AIRWorks UMCS Project Lead and Lead engineer
Develop and evaluate Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraft/ground control stations
Perform R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and calculate R&M metrics
Perform R&M criticality and risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)
Attend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings
Review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerations
Determine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in developing design modifications and Engineering Change Proposals
Support reliability development growth testing (reliability qualification tests)
Support IHMS/BIT design/development process
Collect R&M data from and populate FRACAS databases
Generate various reports outlining findings and recommendations
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Develops acquisition strategies and overall project planning. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Desired demonstrated experience supporting the Government when the Government is the LSI.


Basic Requirements:

A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree. A Senior level person typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. A Senior level person may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Education Requirements:ย MA/MS with 10+ years of experience. Acceptable substitutions: BA/BS and 14+ years of relevant experience OR AA/AAS and 16+ years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:ย  Secret (must be a US Citizen).
Telework and Travel: On site in Lexington Park, MD. Travel <10%.
Contract: This position is supporting an active, funded contract.
