POSITION OVERVIEW

Procurement Manager will be a part of the Accounting & Finance Team and will join an incredibly talented and hardworking finance department dedicated to following legal and regulatory requirements to advance BakerRipley's impact in the Houston region. Reporting to the Senior Director Controller, the Procurement Manager is responsible for the proper and timely procurement of all Agency needs with an eye for compliance, cost-savings, drafting, data review, and organization. The Procurement Manager shall manage the Procurement team while focusing on furthering the Procurement team processes, forecasting projects and assignments, developing plans for needed Agency review, reporting metrics, and providing analysis required for audit reviews.

Responsible for all aspects of procurement management, including workflow monitoring and timeliness, draft review, internal customer service, and vendor management.

Oversees the development of procurement documents including scopes of services and accompanying documents.

Forecast procurement needs for the Agency, assigning duties to staff for timeliness, and completion of all procurements in an audit compliant fashion.

Developing, managing, and communicating department policies and procedures.

Must have working knowledge of governmental or non-profit procurement requirements, including, but not limited to FAR.

Establish and maintain professional working relationships and external/internal contacts.

Shall provide duties as otherwise assigned by the Director or Sr. Director.

Lead a team of procurement professionals and supervising the daily activities of the purchasing function.
