Our Ideal Candidate


We are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team.

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting and coordinating the end-to-end procurement and contract administration process for major construction projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


A Day in the Life


  • Lead vendor and contractor prequalification processes to ensure compliance with Allnorth and client requirements
  • Prepare and manage RFX packages, including pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid evaluations
  • Conduct commercial evaluations, facilitate technical reviews, and draft recommendations for award
  • Support contract negotiations and administer Purchase Orders and Contracts in alignment with legal and commercial frameworks
  • Monitor vendor performance, coordinate expediting of deliverables, and support on-site logistics with the construction team
  • Manage procurement-related orders, invoice disputes, and contract close-outs
  • Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and tracking of contract spend and milestones
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and vendor management tools


What You’ll Bring to the Team


  • A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Law, or a related field is recommended but not required. Equivalent industry experience will be considered and is highly valued.
  • 7+ years of procurement experience in an engineering and/or construction environment
  • Experience supporting major industrial/infrastructure capital projects is considered an asset, specifically with construction contracting
  • Knowledge of contract law, tendering practices, and commercial negotiation
  • Strong time management, organization, communication, and analytical skills
  • The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with cross-functional groups including engineering, project management, project controls, document control, and project delivery teams
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project setting
