Senior Applied Data Scientist / Technical Problem Solver
Location : Remote
Fulltime

Summary: Hands-on, independent contributor who can originate work, turn ambiguous asks into crisp, testable requirements, and deliver end to end applied analytics solutions across multiple active projects.
Core Responsibilities
Translate vague business questions into technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Explore data, profile/validate and build quick prototypes (R/Python acceptable).
Identify feasibility issues, dependencies, and risks early; propose clear solution paths.
Partner with Data Engineering/Data Science/SMEs to validate logic and deliver accurate outputs.
Maintain momentum across multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal oversight.
Ideal Profile
Strong applied analytics; able to debug data logic end to end.
"Street smart" problem solver; bias to action; comfortable with ambiguity.
Clear communicator; documents assumptions, definitions, and QA steps.
