Job description

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a knack for understanding business goals and tech solutions? We're looking for a Business Analyst who's ready to dive into software development and help bridge the gap between our clients' needs and our engineering team's expertise.
No previous experience as a Business Analyst required. We're looking for solid cross over skills, like communication, organization, curiosity, and a love of tech. We can teach you what you need to know to succeed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to elicit requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into clear, actionable steps for our software engineers.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure they fully understand project goals, constraints, and user expectations.
  • Develop and refine functional specifications, use cases, and flow diagrams, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  • Keep an eye on project progress and communicate updates with clients and internal teams, making sure we're all moving toward the same goal.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve any project hiccups that might come up along the way.
  • Serve as liaison between the client and the development team to ensure smooth communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Gather feedback post-launch to keep improving our processes and outcomes.

Your Qualifications

  • No previous experience as a Business Analyst required. We will train you.
  • Great communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical folks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills-you're able to dig into issues and come up with workable solutions.
  • A general understanding of software development processes.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and any data visualization software is a plus!
  • No OPT or sponsorship, must be U.S.-based.
