Job description

Sight & Sound is an organization comprised of people with diverse talents coming together as one in Christ to tell His story through who we are and what we do.  We foster a culture of love for God and love for others, trust and teamwork, and a collaborative environment in which we get to do our best work every day. 

The Usher will provide guests with the highest levels of customer service and safety which includes courteous, timely, efficient seating and to aid in guests overall comfort.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service through directing and assisting guests.
  • Prepare the House for reception of the guests.
  • Interact with Box Office, House and Concessions to resolve customers concerns. Assist with special needs and requests.
  • Monitor and assist with restroom and lobby appearance.
  • Assist with an emergency situation in public areas involving guests.
  • Maintain unity among members of the Guest Services Department.

Requirements:

  • High interpersonal/people skills.
  • Good discernment, negotiating abilities, problem solver, approachable, friendly and outgoing.
  • Physical agility to walk consistently up and down stairs, uneven surfaces, and physically escort guests to their seats.
  • Exhibiting an awareness of and sensitivity to the guest's perspective.
  • Exhibiting a desire for each guest to become a Sight & Sound advocate

This temporary full-time position will end in August. The exact end date is negotiable.
