Remote - Product Liability Attorney (Practice Attorney)

Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Products Liability Attorney to join the nationally recognized Products Liability Practice Group of a premier global law firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior attorney seeking a non-partnership track role focused on sophisticated products liability, toxic tort, and commercial litigation matters for leading global manufacturers and technology companies.

The practice represents product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers in high-stakes litigation and coordinated proceedings involving cutting-edge industries such as artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous vehicles, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, technology, food and beverage, cosmetics, and connected products.

Responsibilities
  • Manage sophisticated products liability and commercial litigation matters with substantial autonomy
  • Serve as a key contributor on multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state court proceedings
  • Draft and argue:
    • Briefs
    • Motions
    • Correspondence
    • Discovery responses
  • Oversee document collection, review, and production processes
  • Conduct factual, causation, and failure analysis related to complex litigation matters
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, co-counsel, and litigation teams
  • Support trial strategy and litigation management for national and international clients
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide responsive, business-oriented legal counsel
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • At least 15 years of experience in:
    • Products liability litigation
    • Toxic tort litigation
    • Commercial litigation
  • Significant experience managing cases independently
  • Experience handling multidistrict litigation and/or coordinated state proceedings preferred
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and case management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities
  • Strong work ethic and collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Outstanding client service skills
  • Active bar membership in the state where practicing and either Washington or California
