About the role:

As the Sr. Director of Sales for Instrumentation & Control Solutions (ICS), you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving growth in new and existing markets, and ensuring alignment with global market trends. This global role involves overseeing the regional I&C sales teams, developing and implementing sales plans, and collaborating with Global Markets and ICS Customer Solution Managers to achieve Orders Entered goals. You will work closely with ICS business sub-segment leaders, customer solution managers, product management, engineering, operations, and Global Markets to grow opportunity pipeline, drive conversion of opportunities to Orders Entered and deploy strategic growth initiatives.

You will report to the President of Instrumentation and Controls. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and capture plans that drives growth in new and existing markets.
  • Deploy Westinghouse Pricing Sheet for Large Orders and Strategic Pricing for Base Orders to ensure high win rate while maximizing Margin As Sold %.
  • Lead the regional ICS sales teams, providing guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure team success.
  • Monitor market trends, customer buying patterns, and competitor moves to inform sales strategies and grow opportunity pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement external marketing campaigns, including social media, print, and conferences, to support sales growth.
  • Accelerate the application of data analytics to identify and capitalize on emergent market opportunities.
  • Work with marketing and third-party vendors to manage logistics for conferences and tradeshows, ensuring representation of ICS.
  • Align and support product strategies and priorities in collaboration with product management to grow opportunity pipeline leveraging innovations and product heatmaps.
  • Ensure the ICS Sales team is consistently and accurately using D365 as our source of truth on all potential opportunities.
  • Proficient in following and driving WEC LOA process including Risk Taking Review and all proactive actions required.
  • Ensure the sales strategy emphasizes defined growth areas to ensure the continued growth trajectory of ICS.
  • Work with product management, engineering and operations to ensure ICS is meeting customer needs and looking for product solutions to ensure the nuclear fleet can continue to operate for many years.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans, deal structures and partnerships.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in engineering, business management, information technology, or computer science
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering, sales, business development, supply chain or operations with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity
  • Strong understanding of financials (including sales, margin, risk contingencies, EBITDA and cash flow) and contractual terms and conditions.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $189,200.00 to $236,500.00 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
