As a Mental Health Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations that identify clients’ mental health needs, leading to the formulation of comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, incorporating a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more.
• Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to facilitate integrated care that addresses the complete spectrum of client needs.
• Offering crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, including helpline support during emergencies.
• Participating in outreach and community education initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

The diverse clientele at Livewell Therapy includes individuals from varied cultural, economic, and social backgrounds, each with unique mental health challenges. As a therapist in our center, you will have the opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, ensuring an inclusive and compassionate approach to care.

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling effective work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• Experience working in a telehealth setting, showcasing familiarity with digital communication tools and technologies.
• Backgrounds that reflect a commitment to community mental health engagement and outreach.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or other relevant therapeutic modalities.
