Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through interviews, clinical evaluations, and standardized assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, and families, employing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care and continuity of services.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health distress, utilizing de-escalation techniques and supportive counseling.
  • Actively engage in outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness in the community through workshops, seminars, and informational sessions.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's degree or a doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport, and build strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence to navigate interactions respectfully and effectively with individuals from various cultures and identities.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation, case notes, and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community clinic or similar mental health settings, providing therapy to diverse client populations.
  • Background in crisis intervention and experience in handling acute mental health emergencies.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic practices.
  • Participation in community outreach programs focused on mental health education and service accessibility.
