Job description

Job Opportunity

This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Medical Doctor who is a recent medical graduate or nearing completion of their medical degree and is eager to develop their clinical expertise in a prevention-focused healthcare environment. The organization specializes in evidence-based preventive and cardiometabolic care and has expanded its reach through telemedicine, clinical programs, advanced testing, and widely followed health education initiatives. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, patient-focused, and motivated to learn from an experienced medical team while contributing to high-quality remote care. This opportunity is particularly well suited for an early-career physician interested in preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, chronic disease prevention, and telemedicine. The Medical Doctor will support clinical activities, review patient information and testing, contribute to patient education, and collaborate with the broader care team to help patients better understand and manage their health risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the medical team in delivering patient-centered, prevention-focused care through a remote healthcare model.
  • Review patient medical histories, laboratory results, diagnostic information, and other relevant clinical data.
  • Assist with identifying and evaluating cardiovascular, metabolic, and chronic disease risk factors.
  • Participate in virtual patient consultations and clinical follow-ups as appropriate for the candidate's level of training and authorization.
  • Help patients understand medical findings, health risks, treatment recommendations, and lifestyle-related considerations in clear, accessible language.
  • Support the development and follow-up of individualized care plans under the appropriate clinical supervision.
  • Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, health coaches, care coordinators, and other team members to provide a consistent patient experience.
  • Stay informed about evidence-based developments related to preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention.
  • Approach clinical questions with curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong commitment to science-driven care.
  • Maintain professionalism, discretion, and appropriate standards when handling confidential patient information.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree completed. Recent medical graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of general medicine and clinical concepts.
  • Genuine interest in preventive medicine, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, and chronic disease prevention.
  • Ability to understand and interpret medical records, laboratory findings, and clinical information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain medical concepts clearly and compassionately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation.
  • Comfortable working with patients and colleagues in a virtual environment.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to learn new clinical approaches, technologies, and workflows.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote healthcare team.
  • Professional approach to patient confidentiality and sensitive health information.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor degree.
  • Early-career physicians and newly graduated doctors are welcome.
  • Exposure to preventive medicine, cardiology, internal medicine, family medicine, endocrinology, lifestyle medicine, or related fields is advantageous but not required.
  • Familiarity with cardiovascular and metabolic biomarkers is a plus.
  • Previous exposure to telemedicine or remote patient care is beneficial.
  • Experience reviewing laboratory results or supporting patient education is an advantage.
  • Comfortable learning and working with digital healthcare platforms and remote collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrated interest in evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development.

Benefits:

  • Open to both full-time and part-time candidates, depending on availability and mutual fit.
  • 100% remote position.
  • Opportunity to gain experience in preventive and cardiometabolic medicine.
  • Exposure to telemedicine and modern approaches to remote healthcare delivery.
