To thrive as a Remote Pre Anesthesia Testing RN, you need a solid background in perioperative nursing, patient assessment, and preoperative evaluation, typically supported by RN licensure and experience in surgical or anesthesia settings. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills help you effectively assess patients and collaborate with healthcare teams. These skills ensure safe, thorough preoperative screenings and patient preparation, which are vital for successful surgical outcomes in a remote setting.
