Job description

BayNova has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer to join our team in support of an important federal government client, in a fully remote / work from home role.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying the applications and providing production support.
  • Responsible for all project designs and documentation.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between the product owner and the project team by assisting in identifying, understanding, and documenting their business needs.
  • Works closely with, and mentors, SharePoint team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective solutioning.
  • May be assigned to more than one project in parallel, and report to multiple stakeholders.
  • Documents user stories or tasks.
  • Conducts presentations and communicates product features to both technical and non-technical communities.
  • Executes tasks for maintenance, development (and architecture design) or migration in the scope, schedule and budget, of SharePoint projects, including but not limited to:
    • Integration and customization of SharePoint products and features using M365, especially SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power Automate.
    • Experience with building modern SharePoint sites using out of the box features with an emphasis on modern design.
    • Develop workflows using Power Automate Flow.
    • Design and develop dashboards, and reports using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate when appropriate.
    • Create and customize forms using Power Apps Canvas Apps.
    • Provide end user technical support.
    • Migrate SharePoint features and data with ShareGate.
    • Prepare and deliver SharePoint end user training materials or instructions.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience as a Power Platform Developer, and SharePoint Architect or Developer
  • Experience in designing and integrating Power Platform applications in SharePoint
  • Proficient with presentation and web communication tools
  • Experience working on, coordinating, and communicating on cross-team initiatives
  • Design experience with SharePoint Online Modern look and feel
  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Customer service oriented
  • Passion and drive for learning new SharePoint technologies and practices
  • Ability to maintain a big-picture vision while defining very detailed requirements
