Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Raze Care Spine and Joint Rehab Center. This full-time remote position allows you to play a vital role in the mental well-being of our patients while benefiting from flexibility in your work environment.

Raze Care Spine and Joint Rehab Center is a well-established community health clinic located in Elk Grove, California. Our center specializes in providing comprehensive outpatient mental health services, focusing on a diverse range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our patients through personalized, evidence-based interventions and a warm, supportive environment.

Work Environment

As a remote position, the work environment at Raze Care allows you the flexibility to perform your duties from home while being part of a collaborative team. Although remote, we maintain strong communication and teamwork through virtual meetings and shared platforms. Our operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and create personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the specific context and challenges of each client.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and address common mental health issues, ensuring a supportive environment for participants.
  • Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care for patients, enhancing treatment effectiveness.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to stabilize patients and connect them with ongoing resources.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, potential treatment strategies, and community resources available to support their journeys towards recovery.
  • Ensure accurate, confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, contributing to an efficient and compliant workflow.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and personal expertise.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into practice when applicable.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a diverse patient population with varied backgrounds, including individuals struggling with acute to chronic mental health conditions. Many of our patients face challenges related to cultural, socioeconomic, and emotional factors, requiring tailored approaches to treatment that are sensitive to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with further education such as a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology preferred.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a passion for providing holistic patient care.
  • Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, particularly in outpatient settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards while displaying sound clinical judgment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress.
  • A team-oriented mindset that values collaboration and shared decision-making.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy to various demographic groups.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually.
