Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to identify their treatment needs and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide graduate-level clinical social work and counseling interventions tailored to each client’s specific context and goals.
  • Engage in continuous communication with fellow staff members regarding assessments, treatment interventions, and interdisciplinary patient care planning.
  • Exhibit the skills and knowledge necessary to competently address the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of a diverse patient population.
  • Deliver thorough case management for assigned patients through collaboration with hospital and community resources, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Complete all required documentation ethically and promptly, in alignment with departmental expectations.
  • Implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities as appropriate to fulfill individualized patient care goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health therapist at Serene Mind Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma responses, and other mental health issues. Qualifications
  • Candidates must hold a valid mental health licensure as either an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.
