Divine Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor, specifically holding credentials as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Counselors will have access to advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, enabling efficient case management and documentation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews to document client cases from initial consult to discharge.
• Evaluating mental, emotional, and behavioral health by utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.
• Developing and implementing tailored intervention and recovery plans for individual clients, couples, and groups.
• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote therapeutic alliance and support.
• Continuously monitoring patient progress throughout treatment and adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to design multifaceted intervention plans.
• Providing follow-up with healthcare providers for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.
• Identifying high-risk behaviors that may hinder recovery and proactively addressing these challenges.
• Supporting family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges through guidance and skills training.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population ranging from children and adolescents to adults experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. Providing culturally competent care tailored to individual backgrounds is essential in fostering efficacy in treatment.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state licensure as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A successful pass score in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
• Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on effective client communication.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable building trusting rapport with clients.

While all applicants will be considered, we prefer candidates who additionally bring:

• Proficiency with the AVATAR electronic health record system and similar software.
• Experience with various physical and mental health conditions, including addiction and recovery.
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceuticals prescribed by medical professionals and their implications for mental health.

Divine Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our compensation package includes:
