• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather essential information about clients' mental health statuses, strengths, and available resources.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions as well as family and group therapy using a range of evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to school-aged clients.
• Employ therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to foster healing.
• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline specific goals and actionable interventions targeting clients' unique challenges.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with teachers, school staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive care plan.
• Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning to address immediate client needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions that provide peer support and psychoeducation on coping techniques and mental health awareness.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions in accordance with ethical and legal standards to ensure compliance and facilitate ongoing care.

As a Mental Health Therapist in our school-based program, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. Your clientele will include students experiencing anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and trauma, which will require a compassionate and adaptable therapeutic approach. Your contributions will be instrumental in helping these young individuals navigate their educational experiences and personal development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on youth and school environments.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those applicable to children and adolescents.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and assessment skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and their families.

• Experience working within a school-based framework or with educational institutions.
