As an LPCC at Highland Counseling PC, you will:

• Manage a caseload of diverse clients, building rapport and maintaining professional boundaries in your therapeutic relationships.
• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress and stability, discussing treatment goals and discharge planning as needed.
• Design, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, applying evidence-based methodologies.
• Complete thorough documentation, including progress notes and case records, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Conduct intake assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients and their mental health needs.
• Participate in individual supervision and peer consultations to enhance your practice and promote continuous professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve client outcomes.
• Foster a growth mindset, remaining open to feedback and embracing new techniques and approaches.

Your practice will involve working with a wide range of client demographics, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health challenges. We prioritize creating a safe therapeutic environment where clients can express their thoughts and feelings while receiving the support they need to navigate their journeys to mental wellness.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential.
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation.
• Proficiency with technology and software tools, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and Pimsy.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy to individuals and families and conducting intake assessments.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be given preference:

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Background in conducting teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth systems and best practices.
• A history of working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to implement holistic treatment strategies.
