In this remote position, you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to clients. You will leverage technology, including electronic medical records (EMR) software, to manage client information efficiently and effectively, supporting both client care and administrative duties.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs and goals.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitating therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated treatment strategies that optimize client outcomes.
• Participating in ongoing training and workshops to remain current with mental health research and best practices.

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may have limited access to mental health resources. The client population may present a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Your ability to build rapport and trust with clients will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships and promoting healing.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards pertinent to counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a wide range of clients.

While not required, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Specialization or experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling.
