• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional states, gathering pertinent information through interviews and standardized tools.
• Engage with clients to evaluate their individual needs, issues, and goals, which are foundational for creating tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address an array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions, focusing on communication strategies, conflict resolution, and enhancing relational dynamics.
• Regularly develop and refine personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring these plans reflect each client’s evolving goals and circumstances.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals to offer holistic care and create integrated support options for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, equipping clients with coping strategies during moments of acute distress.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in marriage and family therapy practices through continuous professional development.
• Champion the rights and needs of clients, empowering them to engage in their own healing and decision-making processes.

The LMFT role primarily involves working with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and couples grappling with a variety of emotional and relational challenges. • Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Current, active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in accordance with state regulations.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills, including utilizing electronic health record systems for client management.
