• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address both psychological and physical health challenges.
• Engage in compassionate therapeutic sessions, utilizing individual and group treatment modalities to promote patient healing and development.
• Collaborate closely with medical and support staff to ensure comprehensive care coordination, enhancing treatment compliance and overall patient satisfaction.
• Document all social work activities diligently in accordance with departmental standards, maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
• Educate patients and families on social work recommendations to empower them in their recovery journey and promote understanding of available resources.
• Serve as an advocate for patients within the community, focusing on improving social support networks and enhancing resource access tailored to individual and family needs.
• Stay current with community resources and integrate this knowledge into patient care to mitigate barriers and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain the highest professional standards by adhering to the NASW Code of Ethics and departmental policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance clinical expertise and stay abreast of best practices in the field of social work.

The LCSW will work primarily with diverse populations in outpatient settings, focusing on individuals and families facing a variety of psychosocial challenges. This includes those struggling with mental health disorders, trauma recovery, relationship issues, and other life transitions. The therapist's role is crucial in promoting resilience and facilitating the healing process through tailored interventions.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Maryland.
• Strong knowledge of social work principles, including ethical practices, and expertise in working with diverse client populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and patient interaction.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to ensure high-quality care delivery.

• At least 6 months of clinical experience in a setting focused on mental health services, ideally within a community health or outpatient clinic.
• Experience working with populations specific to the Gaithersburg area, understanding the cultural complexities and community resources available.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and address the unique needs of clients at various stages of life, including children, adolescents, and adults.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of experience and qualifications.
