Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Payroll Specialist opportunities in Greenville, SC. Responsibilities for a Payroll Specialist include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate day-to-day multi-state payroll processing and analyze audit reports in partnership with a Managed Services Provider to ensure accuracy, completeness, and SOX compliance.

  • Resolve employee, manager, and business-unit payroll service inquiries and support tickets via ServiceNow and ADP CRM systems.

  • Maintain accurate job, salary, time, and garnishment data in HRIS and payroll databases, while preparing off-cycle payrolls in accordance with state regulations.

Candidates for Payroll Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience for 5,000+ employees, with knowledge of ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, or SAP preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and a demonstrated understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, tax, and labor regulations.
