Job Summary

We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to support day-to-day payroll and employee benefits administration. This position reports to the Finance Director and works closely with both Finance and Human Resources. 1 day work from home option.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2+ years of hands-on payroll processing experienceExperience using iSolved is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process U.S. payroll accurately and on time.
  • Enter and update employee payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS information.
  • Review timesheets, hours worked, pay rates, deductions, and employee changes for accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding paychecks, deductions, and other payroll matters.
  • Reconcile payroll deposits, tax withholdings, garnishments, and voluntary deductions.
  • Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Assist with annual benefits open enrollment and employee life-event changes.
  • Reconcile health insurance invoices against employee benefit elections.
  • Submit employer 401(k) match information through EDI and assist with 401(k) audits.
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation audits and related documentation.
  • Create HRIS and payroll reports as requested by management.
  • Maintain employee stock option information and notifications.
  • Review international payroll information as needed.
  • Help maintain and improve payroll procedures, processes, and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • iSolved payroll experience is highly desirable
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working with payroll, timekeeping, and/or HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to reconcile payroll information and identify discrepancies
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable answering employee payroll and benefits questions
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
