The role of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker is set within a climate-controlled office environment, enabling a comfortable workspace conducive to effective patient interactions. Your day-to-day activities will include moving throughout the facility and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This remote work setting allows for flexibility while maintaining essential face-to-face support through video calls where necessary.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions continuously, ensuring adjustments to care plans as needed to meet the evolving needs of the patients.
• Document all treatment records, reports, and clinical information meticulously and on time using state-of-the-art technology, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other clinicians to establish comprehensive treatment plans that address individual patient goals and desired outcomes.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and safety planning as necessary, ensuring patient well-being is prioritized through all interactions.
• Strengthen referral networks and provide resources to connect patients with necessary external treatment options.
• Mentor and educate interns, students, and new team members, contributing to the professional development of future healthcare providers.
• Participate in clinical reviews and peer evaluations under the guidance of your clinical supervisor, supporting the overall growth of your team.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families navigating the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. Your expertise will help patients cope with their circumstances, fostering resilience through therapeutic interventions that are sensitive to cultural diversity and address distinct personal needs. The focus will be on empowering patients and their families to process their experiences effectively and implement coping strategies that improve their quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment methods.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with patients and their families empathetically.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly working with patients dealing with chronic illnesses such as cancer.
• Familiarity with hospice care and end-of-life issues.
• Skill in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

The offered compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
