Health Access Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team in Paradise Valley, Nevada. Work Environment

This position is based remotely, allowing you to work from your own climate-controlled office environment. You will engage in meaningful interactions with multidisciplinary teams through virtual platforms, connecting with other healthcare professionals and department members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to develop tailored care plans.
• Provide ongoing monitoring of patient progress, employing evidence-based practice to adapt care strategies effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, following regulatory requirements and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to construct individualized treatment plans that prioritize safety, symptom management, and desired health outcomes.
• Facilitate referrals and maintain communication with external treatment providers, ensuring continuity of care.
• Engage in mentoring and educational roles for interns and new team members under the guidance of clinical supervisors.
• Participate in clinical peer reviews and contribute to team development efforts through sharing insights and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is primarily focused on supporting individuals and families confronted with the unique challenges of cancer diagnoses. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will address the psychological, emotional, and social factors that accompany such life-altering health events, working to provide holistic support and empower patients through their journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in mental health support or oncology care.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and treatment methodologies specific to cancer-related psychological distress.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and treatment documentation software.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
