Position Overview

Health Access Medical Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time role requires commitment to providing high-quality virtual therapy services to a diverse client base, with a minimum caseload of 25 clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of psychotherapeutic techniques and a passion for improving the mental health of individuals in need.

Work Environment

The work setting for this role is entirely remote, granting flexibility to set your own schedule while ensuring effective management of client needs. The position's structure allows social workers to work from the comfort of their homes while remaining part of a supportive team that values mental health and well-being. Administrative tasks related to client onboarding, billing, insurance verification, and electronic health record (EHR) management will be handled by our skilled support staff. This enables you to focus primarily on delivering exceptional therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Health Access Medical Center, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ needs and mental health histories.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on established therapeutic modalities, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
  • Provide virtual counseling sessions that ensure a safe and supportive environment for open discussions.
  • Monitor and document client progress within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Educate clients on mental health awareness and coping strategies, fostering self-advocacy and resilience.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily provide services to adults aged 18 and older from diverse and often underserved backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals facing unique socio-economic challenges. By using a culturally competent approach, you will better support clients from various walks of life, enhancing their ability to cope with mental health issues and life transitions.

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active LCSW license to practice in the state of Nevada.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience is required.
  • Strong background in CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy.
  • Possession of professional malpractice insurance.
  • Proficiency in working with diverse populations and previous experience in providing psychological support to adults.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community is preferred.
  • Familiarity with issues relating to men's mental health.
  • Experience in providing psychotherapy via virtual platforms.
  • Prior engagement with minority populations and addressing their unique mental health needs.
Compensation and Benefits
