What is a remote overseas manager?

A Remote Overseas Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing business operations, teams, or projects in a foreign country while working remotely. They coordinate activities across different time zones, manage cross-cultural teams, and ensure that company policies and objectives are achieved internationally. Effective communication, cultural awareness, and adaptability are key skills for this role. Remote Overseas Managers often use digital tools for collaboration and reporting to bridge the distance between their location and the overseas operations.

  • Manage technology vendor and contractor relationships engaged in US engineering work.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive software engineering and/or solution architecture experience, with a track record of delivering modern systems to production at scale.
