Key Responsibilities- As the LCSW, you will report to the Social Work Manager, where your primary responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide array of psychosocial issues that patients face.
- You will adhere to the professional standards outlined in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.
- Consistently apply the corporate values of respect, honesty, and fairness to enhance the health status of individuals within our care, providing high-value services that are easily accessible.
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment and create strategies that improve health outcomes and resource utilization.
- Consult with the medical staff about patients’ psychosocial backgrounds to assist in developing comprehensive care plans, thereby enhancing treatment adherence and overall patient experiences.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans and implement clinical interventions utilizing individual and group therapy methodologies, regularly analyzing treatment progress to promote optimal health and decision-making.
- Document social work activities in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and laws.
- Educate patients and their families on understanding and accepting treatment recommendations to support recovery and optimal functioning.
- Assess advocacy needs for patients and families, coordinating community resources that empower clients and improve their social support networks.
- Maintain professional development by staying updated with educational activities and training relevant to your clinical responsibilities.
In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing mental health challenges, including those undergoing treatment at our Detox Center. Our focus extends to addressing the specific needs of diverse populations, ensuring culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds and life experiences of our patients.
Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, along with a current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to address the healthcare needs of patients, considering factors such as aging processes, developmental stages, and cultural diversity.
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably within a healthcare or mental health setting.
- A strong commitment to ethical clinical practice and continuous personal and professional growth.
- Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those in crisis or requiring detox services.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and contemporary social work practices.
- Experience with community resource coordination and advocacy efforts to support patient well-being.
The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
