Despite the remote nature of this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team responsible for serving school-age individuals. Key Responsibilities

• As an LCSW reporting to the Social Work Manager, you will conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to accurately diagnose and treat various psychosocial issues encountered by students.
• Engage in effective communication with medical and support staff to plan and implement comprehensive care strategies for your patients, ensuring treatment compliance and enhanced overall patient experience.
• Create and monitor individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, both in individual and group settings, regularly assessing treatment progress and modifying approaches as needed.
• Document all social work activities as per departmental standards in patient medical records, ensuring that each record reflects adherence to best practices and the NASW Code of Ethics.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate recommendations aimed at restoring optimal functioning.
• Coordinate community advocacy efforts that empower patients and families, emphasizing self-determination while connecting them to social resources.
• Regularly complete departmental reports and case-related statistics to contribute to organizational knowledge and continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on supporting students within school environments, addressing their unique mental health needs, and influencing their academic and social outcomes. The LCSW will engage with children and adolescents experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment problems. Scenarios may include crisis intervention during school hours or facilitating workshops for parents and teachers on mental health awareness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school and a valid LCSW license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure is required.
• Proficient understanding of aging processes, human development stages, and the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice.
• Ability to foster a supportive and therapeutic environment by demonstrating compassion, respect, and professional integrity in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience is required, candidates with prior exposure in school settings or mental health facilities will be viewed favorably. Knowledge of community resources available for families and children, as well as experience in team collaboration, will enhance your effectiveness as a practitioner in our setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to USD 100,000, reflecting your skills and experience.
