Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate client needs, effectively utilizing evidence-based practices to create detailed treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster resilience and encourage personal growth in clients.
• Utilize digital health records management systems to maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality and data security.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive, holistic care that addresses the full spectrum of client needs.
• Participate in regular peer review meetings and ongoing training sessions, allowing for skill enhancement and collaboration in pursuit of best practices within the mental health field.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and community resources to empower them in navigating their challenges.
• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new evidence-based approaches into your practice to enhance client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized accredited institution.
• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State, reflecting your professional qualifications and expertise.
• Strong skills in solution-focused psychotherapy approaches that enable you to adapt treatment plans based on the unique needs and progress of each client.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, reflecting your expertise and contributions to the organization.
