Job Title: Oracle IDM Engineer – Mid Level
Location: Remote
Eligibility: Candidates must have resided in the U.S. for the last 3 consecutive years to be eligible for Public Trust clearance

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Oracle Identity Management (IDM) Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Oracle IAM technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OIG and OAM environments, custom development, integrations, and production support within complex enterprise systems.

Required Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in the Identity & Access Management (IAM) domain

  • Strong expertise in implementing, maintaining, and migrating Oracle IAM 12c components, including:

    • WebLogic, OIM, SOA, BI Publisher, OAM, OAA, OARM, and OID

  • Strong Java development skills with hands-on experience using OIG/OAM REST and Java APIs for:

    • Custom UI pages

    • Scheduled jobs

    • Automations and integrations

  • In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including:

    • SSO, Identity Federation, MFA

    • SAML, OAuth, OIDC

    • Entitlements and access governance

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing SSO integrations using OAM and other IAM tools (OOTB and custom solutions)

  • Strong knowledge of IAM principles such as RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, segregation of duties, and privilege escalation

  • Hands-on development experience with:

    • Scheduled Jobs, Adapters, Event Handlers, Notifications

    • Plugins, custom connectors (ICF/CI)

    • Custom web pages

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments

  • Strong SQL skills, including writing custom queries for reporting, enhancements, and issue resolution

  • Experience with BI Publisher report creation, updates, migration, and maintenance

  • Experience working with LDAP directories (OID, Active Directory, etc.), including LDAP queries and troubleshooting

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deliverables independently

  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to customer stakeholders


Additional / Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience upgrading Oracle FMW from 12c to 14c

  • Knowledge of WebAuthn / FIDO2, device-based authentication, and Zero Trust identity concepts

  • Relevant IAM certifications (CIAM, CIGE, or similar)

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 12c, including:

    • WebGate configuration and deployment

    • SAML, OAuth, and OIDC integrations

  • Experience supporting audit and compliance requirements, including:

    • Access certifications

    • User lifecycle operations

    • Access approvals and reviews

  • Working knowledge of Splunk, with the ability to analyze logs and investigate issues independently
