Job Title: Senior Software Developer/Architect (Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation)

Location: San Diego, CA/Remote

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer/Architect with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Incentive Compensation and at least 5 years of expertise in Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation (FIC) implementations. The ideal candidate will lead technical solution architecture and design discussions, ensure best practices in application and integration development, and adhere to enterprise architecture standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage customer interactions and expectations are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Engagement Cloud & Incentive Compensation:

  • Design and implement Incentive Compensation plans by collaborating with business stakeholders, leading discovery sessions, and gathering requirements.
  • Analyze business compensation plans and translate them into FIC business rule architecture.
  • Configure and manage FIC tools, including plan setup in test and production environments.
  • Set up payments, quotas, commissions, incentives, and bonuses.
  • Maintain user roles, flexfields, hierarchies, security profiles, workflow rules, and related configurations.
  • Develop complex queries, data models, web services, and BI Publisher (BIP) reports.
  • Identify and integrate data sources from other business systems; negotiate and manage data transmissions.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams addressing strategic business and integration issues involving CRM and service operations.
  • Communicate technical issues effectively and resolve problems across all organizational levels.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation Management with at least 2 full-cycle end-to-end implementations.
  • Proven ability to design and develop complex compensation plans, credit rules, and payment structures.
  • Expertise in leading discovery and design workshops with customers for Incentive Compensation.
  • Strong experience in optimized design for commissions, claw-backs, and payments.
  • Hands-on experience with custom expressions, custom data sets, and out-of-the-box (OOTB) expressions.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting.
  • Ability to build OTBI reports, complex data models, and BI Publisher reports.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for logic and configuration issues.
  • Experience in building data integrations between systems.
  • Ability to lead UAT sessions and manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
